What we collect
Kīlauea Live has no accounts and does not ask for personal information. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
Advertising and cookies
We use or may use third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, to pay for the site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Third-party content
Pages load images and data directly from public services: the U.S. Geological Survey, the National Weather Service, USGS The National Map, Google Fonts, cdnjs (Cloudflare) and, if you press play on a live video, YouTube. Each of these receives your IP address and browser details when your browser contacts them, under their own privacy policies.
Children
This site is for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
